The fraction, which saw the retirement of Thymen Aresman, after Kasper Asgreen and Jay Vine had not left this morning, decided once again in the sprint: the 37-year-old South African overtakes Alberto Bettiol at double speed, then fourth, and conquers the success of the day.

Stephen Williams (Bahrain Victorius) remains the leader of the overall standings.
