A dramatic turn of events in the fifth stage of the Tour de France Femmes, from Bastogne to Amnéville, 152.5 km.

About 6 km from the finish line, there was a major fall in the group: Demi Vollering also fell and restarted, in pain, but lost almost two minutes to Kasia Niewiadoma, second on the stage and the new yellow jersey of the race.

The stage was won by Blanka Vas (Sd Worx) in a four-man sprint.
