Evenepoel loses 1'21", but the time is neutralized

Olav Kooij repeats his victory at the Tour of Britain, winning the second stage with start and finish in Stowmarket (169.3 km).

Once again today, the lack of any difficult altitude conditions made a sprint finish a given, with Kooij starting from tenth place and anticipating the sprint. The Dutchman from Team Visma finished ahead of Crabbe (Team Flanders) and Watson (Ineos Grenadiers).

Kooij thus also strengthens his leader's jersey.
