Tour of Denmark: Incredible photo finish in stage 2!
In the end, Wout Van Aert wins

In the end, Wout Van Aert wins

What happened in the second stage of the Tour of Denmark , from Glyngøre to Skive, is incredible. (182.9km): the stage, without any altimetric difficulties, ends with a predictable bunch sprint, in which Van Aert seems to have the best start from the centre of the road.
At the last moment, however, Plowright , author of a crazy comeback, appears to the left of the Belgian and raises an arm at the finish line, almost in disbelief.
Initially, the victory was confirmed for the Alpecin rider, but after a careful analysis, with a very complicated photo finish (as you can see from the image), the success was awarded to Wout Van Aert , by a matter of millimetres .
The Team Visma rider thus secured his second victory in as many stages of this Tour of Denmark and strengthened his lead in the general classification. Along with Plowirght, Lotto's Aerts also made the stage podium.
