Laurence Pithie confirms his excellent form and wins the first stage of the Tour of Slovenia.
The first stage, without any particular altimetric difficulties, ended with a compact sprint in Rogaška Slatina.
Red Bull proved to be the strongest, with Marit finishing just behind her teammate, while Zambanini rounded out the podium just ahead of Oldani. Among the Italians, Masciarelli finished 7th, while Pozzovivo finished 11th.
Tomorrow is another day dedicated to fast wheels.
