Alessandro De Marchi wins the second stage of the Tour of the Alps from Salurn to Stans, 190.7 km. The Team Jayco AlUla rider prevails after a good solo effort, attacking on the last climb and separating his breakaway companions Simon Pellaud and Patrick Gamper, second and third respectively at the finish line.

All unchanged in the top group, controlled by Team Ineos Grenadiers , with Tobias Foss remaining leader of the general classification.
