Lorena Wiebes makes it three for three at the UAE Tour Women.
The Dutchwoman, after winning the first two stages, also took the third stage, from Abu Dhabi TeamLab Phenomena to Abu Dhabi Breakwater, 121 km long.
Her rivals couldn't do anything, although Lara Gillespie (UAE Team) came very close but finished second. Amalie Dideriksen of Cofidis finished third, ahead of Nienke Veenhoven, Vittoria Guazzini, and Chiara Consonni.
In the overall standings, Wiebes leads Gillespie by 18 seconds and Zoe Backstedt by 23 seconds.
Tomorrow's final stage will feature a mountainous finish at Jebel Hafeet. It's worth noting that Marlen Reusser, one of the favorites for the overall win, did not start the third stage due to the consequences of yesterday's crash.
