Van der Poel confirms himself as world champion in cyclocross

Van der Poel wins the 7th cyclocross world championship , the Dutchman confirms the predictions and easily wins the Leivin race in France. Very good however Van Aert who takes the silver medal, despite starting from the back.
The Alpecin rider takes the lead from the first corners and no one can keep up with him. Van Aert, who started in the fourth row, tries a desperate comeback and manages to reach second position already from the 3rd lap.
In the final laps, Van der Poel's advantage over Van Aert remained stable at around a minute, with the Dutchman winning over his Belgian rival. 3rd place for Nys .
