Ivan Romeo won the third stage of the Volta Valenciana, from Almegesì to Alpuente, 180 km.

The Spanish rider of Movistar anticipated the favorites by arriving alone at the finish line. Behind him, a few seconds away, Santiago Buitrago and Joao Almeida. The latter is the new leader of the general classification.
