Jay Vine (Alpecin Fenix) won the eighth stage of the Vuelta, from La Pola Llaviana / Pola de Laviana to Colláu Fancuaya of 153.4 km with arrival at the end of a climb of about 10 km with an average gradient of 7.8 %.
