Quatrième place pour Max Kanter , immédiatement devant un Peter Sagan qui donne des signes de réveil en vue du Milan-Sanremo . Sixième, et premier des Italiens, Andrea Vendrame , alors qu'Alberto Dainese ne brille pas, treizième.  

Un sprint convaincant de Cavendish qui confirme cependant à quel point il est important pour lui la présence de Michael M Ø rk Ø v comme dernier homme.
