Dorian Godon wins the third stage of the Volta a Catalunya.

The race becomes lively on the descent of Coll Roig, with the group splitting into two. Before the reunion, Evenepoel attacks on the flat and is followed by Vingegaard .

The two gained about twenty seconds on the struggling group. At 500 meters, when it seemed like one of the two would win, Evenepoel inexplicably crashed and Vingegaard stopped.

In the sprint Godon clearly wins over Vernon and Hobbs .
