Elisa Balsamo won the 25th edition of the Trofeo Alfredo Binda-Comune di Cittiglio, a women's World Tour race held today over a distance of 140.5 km.

On the Lombardy circuit there was a battle at the end with numerous attack attempts but all ended without success. Balsamo held on on the day's short climbs and eventually won the sprint race ahead of the world champion, Lotte Kopecky . The podium was completed by Puck Pieterse , third.

Also in the top 10 were Soraya Paladin, fourth, and Silvia Persico, eighth. For Balsamo it is the second Trofeo Binda success in his career.
