The showdown between Pogacar and Evenepoel is approaching: on Sunday in Zurich, the two big favorites will compete for the rainbow jersey.

Patrick Lefevere , however, is already looking ahead to the Belgian champion's next season. A few weeks ago, a draft of Evenepoel's 2025 plans was published, which you can read here in our previous news.

The plan seems to have changed, as Lefevere states: "Remco could have already attempted the double this season, but his coach changed the plans" and again "Pogacar has shown that the double is possible and Evenepoel draws great motivation from these challenges".

The preparation for the world time trial champion would be totally different and would also include a possible debut at the Milan-Sanremo , a hypothesis already floated a few weeks ago.
