Serra Triptych and Fantacycling, when the climb is a spectacle

The 2026 Fantacycling Rally was a great success, this year taking place with a new and even more exciting format thanks to the collaboration with the Trittico del Serra .

Indeed, compared to previous editions, in which only one side of Monte Serra was climbed (the Calci side, the same one tackled in the Giro di Toscana), in the 2026 edition, participants were able to attempt the feat of climbing all three sides of the most famous of the Monti Pisani: the Sant'Andrea side in Lucca and the other side in the province of Pisa, the one starting from Buti.

The enthusiasm and passion for cycling overwhelmed everyone, with over one hundred and seventy participants eager to reach the summit of Monte Serra, represented by the legendary antennas, each at their own pace.

However, there was also competition among the leaders, with the ranking drawn up by adding together the times of the segments of the three climbs.  

The winner was Pietro Pugliara from Genoa, who engaged in a thrilling duel with former professional Riccardo Riccò on the first slope of Calci. Second and third place went to two athletes from the Fantacycling Racing Team, Luca Cipriani and Simone Farina , who demonstrated the high level of our team, which has been growing significantly since its first year of activity.

Thanks to everyone who participated and to the organizers of the Trittico del Serra, with whom we joined this year, but who have been carrying on this historic event in the Pisan area for years.
