Another Italian on the top step of the podium at the Tour of Slovenia. After Filippo Zana's success in 2023, Giovanni Aleotti took the final victory of the race, in which he also won a stage, ahead of Pello Bilbao at 10 seconds and Giulio Pellizzari at 26 seconds. Fourth another Italian, Domenico Pozzovivo.

The last stage today, June 16, was won by Ben Healy.

Aleotti, 25 years old, races for Bora hansgrohe and is at his seventh career success. At the last Giro d'Italia he was among the most brilliant teammates of Daniel Martinez, who came second on the final podium behind Tadej Pogacar.
