Torstein Traeen won the 171km fourth stage of the Tour of Switzerland, from Ruschlikon to the Gotthard Pass.

On the first uphill finish of the Swiss race, the Bahrain Victorious rider crossed the finish line first after a long escape first together with other runners and then alone. Behind him an excellent Adam Yates , new leader of the general classification. Mattias Skjelmose and Joao Almeida arrived almost thirty seconds behind the Briton of UAE Emirates.
