Richard Carapaz , current pink jersey and favorite on the eve, seems calm and aware of his own means, even if there is no shortage of opponents and everything is still very open: "The key stage will be tomorrow - said the Ecuadorian rider during the press conference scheduled on the day of rest - It will be a very hard stage, with 5000 meters of altitude difference and everyone's fatigue will be felt. Compared to 2019, when I won the Giro, the situation is a bit different. Now I have more experience and a great team behind me and that makes a lot of difference. Now we know what we can do, while in 2019 there were more doubts. Personally, moreover, I feel stronger and this gives me a lot of confidence in what is to come ".
