The Slovenian leaves the victory to his teammate

Brandon McNulty won the 14th edition of the GP Montreal, a 209.1 km World Tour race.

An elimination race with many retirements, including those of Wout Van Aert and Julian Alaphilippe, winner of Quebec last Friday.

Pogacar made the difference about thirty kilometers from the finish, catching Quinn Simmons, Louis Barré, and teammate Brandon McNulty, then dropping the first two and waiting for the American's comeback. The two rode together until the finish, where the world champion handed the victory to McNulty.

Quinn Simmons also made it onto the podium in third, ahead of Neilson Powless and Adam Yates to complete the UAE Emirates celebrations.
