The day after Paul Seixas' sensational success in the Faun Ardeche Classic, it was Romain Gregoire who took victory in the Faun Drome Classic.

France, therefore, once again on the top step of the podium: at the end of the race, over the distance of 189 km, the Groupama-FDJ United rider beat Matteo Jorgenson, of Visma Lease a Bike, and Lenny Martinez of Bahrain-Victorious.

Seventh place overall for Christian Scaroni.
