Accident during training for David Gaudu ; Groupama FDJ announced that the French rider fell to the ground because of a stray animal . The consequences do not appear to be particularly serious, but the team reported that additional tests are underway.

Gaudu will therefore not take part in this weekend's races, the Classic Var and the Tour des Alpes Maritimes , where the Frenchman was one of the most anticipated men.
