Julian Alaphilippe returned to success by winning the 23rd edition of the Faun-Ardèche Classic, held today in France, and valid as a Pro Series race.
The Soudal Quick Step rider, who thus obtained his 40th career victory, preceded David Gaudu (Groupama Fdj) in the sprint, with whom he attacked just over twenty kilometers from the finish.
Behind them came the Danish Mattias Skjelmose, seventh the Italian Lorenzo Rota.
