Group sprint, Kooij beaten
Jasper Philipsen won the 77th edition of the Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, run today in Belgium over the distance of 196.9 km.
Like yesterday for the Omloop, won by Soren Waerenskjold, the race was decided in a bunch sprint. The walls, far from the finish, did not make the difference.
At the finish line, Philipsen, on his 27th birthday, took the victory ahead of Olav Kooij and Hugo Hofstetter.
Jonathan Milan finished in sixth place.
