Marc Soler won the 14th stage of the Vuelta a España, from Avilés to La Farrapona, Lagos de Somiedo, 135.9 km.

At yet another uphill finish of the race, at 1,711 meters, it was another celebration for UAE Emirates, who secured their seventh stage win. Soler, the protagonist of the day's breakaway, left all his teammates behind, reaching the finish line alone.

Behind him, about 30 seconds behind, Jonas Vingegaard preceded Joao Almeida, with Jay Hindley and Felix Gall not far behind.
