Giulio Pellizzari , Egan Bernal and Michael Storer opened the Tour of the Alps with the official pre-start press conference.

Pellizzari : " I had some minor knee problems after the Tirreno, but by the time I got to the top of the mountain, everything was resolved." Now I'm in excellent condition and can't wait to test myself on the long climbs of a very tough race like the Tour of the Alps. I personally asked the team to participate .
" About Finn, I'll just tell you that he will show you how strong he is !"

Bernal : " I had knee problems that forced me to return to Colombia and miss all the races in the spring. Now the situation has improved and I'm here to aim for a good placing in the general classification and to prepare as best as possible for the Giro d'Italia ."
" Both here and at the Giro I will aim for the general classification ."

Storer : " I'm really happy to be here. This is one of my favorite races, and I hope to be in the same condition as last year." "As for the Giro, in 2025 I crashed several times in the first stages, and that compromised my performance ."
" For this Tour of the Alps I see Arensman as the favourite, but in general Ineos has a very strong team with Bernal and Foss ."
