Lorenzo Finn is the new junior world champion! The Italian won the 127.2 km course in Zurich, ahead of Grindley and Alvarez.

Finn himself started the decisive action of the race, attacking alone 60 km from the finish line . The 2006-born rider was later joined by Alvarez (Spain), Withen Philipsen (Denmark) and Grindley (Great Britain).

During the final passage on the Witikon climb, Finn once again manages to go it alone and reaches the summit with almost a minute's advantage over Alvarez and Grindley , the last to let go of the Italian's wheel.

Finn continues to increase his lead in the final stretch and triumphs alone. Behind him is the British Grindley, third place for the Dutch Remijn.
