Slovenian second in the last stage won by Nordhagen
Thrilling finale at the Giro Next Gen: in the end, the one to rejoice over the overall success was Jakob Omrzel , a 19-year-old Slovenian from Bahrain Victorious, who came second in the final stage with the finish in Pinerolo, behind Jorgen Nordhagen, and won the general classification by beating Luke Tuckwell, who was wearing the pink jersey before the start, by just 12 seconds.
Also on the podium of the race was the Czech Pavel Novak, third.
Nordhagen finished fourth, Filippo Turconi of Bardiani fifth, Lorenzo Finn of Red Bull Bora sixth.
Not another Italian, Matteo Scalco.
