Lidl Trek takes second place, Ayuso is the new leader

Ineos Grenadiers won the third stage of Paris-Nice, a 23.5km team time trial from Cosne Cours sur Loire to Pouilly sur Loire.

The team, led by Kevin Vauquelin, Oscar Onley, and Joshua Tarling, finished the race with a time of 26:40 at an average speed of 52.8 km/h. Juan Ayuso's Lidl Trek finished second, 2 seconds behind. Decathlon Cma Cgm Team finished third, 11 seconds behind, thanks to a strong performance by Daan Hoole. Jonas Vingegaard's Visma Lease a Bike lost 15 seconds, while UAE Emirates fared poorly, 37 seconds behind.

Ayuso is the new leader of the general classification.
