Piganzoli will race the Tour de France!
The Italian climber will once again be alongside Vingegaard

After the excellent Giro d'Italia, Davide Piganzoli will once again be alongside Jonas Vingegaard, this time at the Tour de France.
Team Visma has in fact confirmed the lineup that will start the Grande Boucle on July 4th from Barcelona.
After Van Aert 's withdrawal, there were many doubts about who could replace the Belgian, and the Dutch team decided to focus on Piganzoli, after his great performances on the climbs in the Giro d'Italia.
The team will be entirely in support of Vingegaard , with 4 exceptional rouleurs such as Affini, Hagenes, Campenaerts and Armirail (also essential for the opening team time trial) and 3 men dedicated to the climbs : Kuss, Piganzoli and Jorgenson, with the latter who, in addition to supporting the Dane, could try to stay in the general classification.
