Arnaud De Lie (Lotto Dsnty) wins the last stage of the Renewi Tour, from Menen to Geraardsbergen (202.7km).

The race explodes during the last passage on the Kapelmuur with the attack of Wellens and De Lie : the two resume the initial breakaway of the day and manage to create a gap. Hagenes manages, at a later stage, to hook up with the leading pair.

With 15km to go, Mohoric, Pluimers and Dewulf broke away from the main group, 20" away, and reached the leading trio, who were later joined by Madouas.

On the Denderoordberg, the last wall before the finish line, De Lie and Wellens extend their lead once again.

De Lie manages to detach Wellens in the final metres and wins the fifth stage, while the UAE Team Emirates rider finishes second and wins the general classification of the Renewi Tour. Third place for Madouas .

Behind Wellens, in the general classification, Segaert and Hagenes. 10th Bettiol.
