Belgian is the new leader of the general classification, Ganna retires
Alec Segaert won the second stage of the Renewi Tour, a 15km individual time trial starting and finishing in Tessenderlo. The 21-year-old Lotto Dstny rider, a time trial specialist, finished in 16'59" at an average speed of 54.405 km/h.
On the podium of the day Magnus Sheffield, 7 seconds behind, and Stefan Bissegger, 10 seconds behind. The Belgian is the new leader of the general classification while Jonathan Milan, winner of yesterday's stage, paid a delay of over 40 seconds. This morning the main favorite for today, Filippo Ganna, did not start.
