The Vuelta a Burgos kicks off today

After the Olympic race with the victory of Remco Evenepoel , we are looking forward to the final phase of the season. While waiting for La Vuelta , the next World Tour commitments will be the Classic of San Sebastian (10 August) and the Tour of Poland (from 12 to 18 August), races in which the available exchanges will have to be carefully measured.

While waiting for these two races, the Vuelta a Burgos gets underway; five stages with a challenging fraction on Wednesday, the third, and an 18.5 km individual time trial on the fourth stage.

It will be an opportunity to see riders back at work who want to be protagonists in these last months and perhaps redeem a season that hasn't been exactly positive.

There will be Antonio Tiberi , who had an excellent Giro d'Italia and together with him in Bahrain , we will see Damiano Caruso ; Visma will be able to count on Sepp Kuss , out at the Tour de France and coming off a 2024 that hasn't been very good up to this point, while Team Ineos will be able to count on Thymen Arensman .

Also interesting is Valentin Parte Paintre , but even more so Cian Uijtdebroeks , also coming off a negative season.
