The main surprises of the race are the Australian O'Connor and the Latvian Skujins , 2nd and 4th respectively at the finish line; both increase by 4 fantamillions.

Excellent performances also for Van der Poel , who finished on the podium, for Healy, Simmons, Adrià, Hirschi and Mas: +1 for them.

The start list was stellar and there were only twenty places available for the Fantacycling bonuses; consequently, there are many riders who were excluded from the points zone and who see their value drop.
