Tour de France: The favorites for the green jersey
3-way challenge between Philipsen, Merlier and Pedersen

3-way challenge between Philipsen, Merlier and Pedersen
The Tour de France , in addition to an exceptional start list for the general classification men, will also have the best sprinters in the world (with the exception of Milan) competing for the green jersey.
On paper, there will be three big favourites: Merlier , Philipsen and Pedersen , with the Soudal rider trying to give it his all in the (few) pure sprints, while the other two riders, more resistant but slightly inferior in the bunch sprints, will try to play their cards in the more challenging stages.
The stages dedicated to sprints will be numbers 5, 7, 8, 11 and 12: on these days there will be 2 intermediate sprints and the winner at the finish line will be awarded 70 points , instead of 50.
In addition to the 3 names already mentioned, we would like to point out the presence of Kooij, Girmay, Godon, Bauhaus, Waeresnskjold, De Lie and Bittner.
