Bob Jungels tested positive for Covid-19 , but was authorized to start the Tour de France by the UCI medical directorate .

The official decision came this morning after the positive swab result, but with a very low viral load. So Jungels was deemed non-contagious by the medical management and will be able to leave tomorrow from Copenhagen . However, Bryan Coquard , positive for Covid, cannot do. In his place, Team Cofidis called Pierre Luc Périchon.
