Vingegaard second, Carapaz third
Tadej Pogacar won the 20th stage of the Tour de France, from Nice to the 132.8km Col de la Couillole.
Last mountain stage, with four climbs. Escape of the day with ten riders including Richard Carapaz who mathematically conquers the polka dot jersey classification. Carapaz himself remains in front with Enric Mas but the battle breaks out behind him with Remco Evenepoel who tries to attack but Jonas Vingegaard, followed closely by Tadej Pogacar, responds and breaks away from him.
Yet another duel between the last two winners of the Tour is decided a few meters from the finish line: Pogacar leaves nothing to his opponent and easily overtakes him to win his fifth stage at the Tour.
