Alaphilippe and Zambanini defeated in the fourth stage
Roman Gregoire wins stage four of the Tour of Britain from Atherstone to Burton Dassett (186.9km).
Today the first altimetric difficulties of the race with a choppy second part of the stage and the finish on the steep Burton Dassett Hill.
Several attempts were made in the final 10 km, but no one was able to make a difference. This led to an uphill sprint in which Gregoire launched at the perfect moment, took the lead on the final bend, and won the fourth stage. Alaphilippe was second, immediately on his compatriot's wheel, with Zambanini 2" ahead of the rest of the group.
Gregoire also takes the leader's jersey in the standings.
