Otruba 's solo breakaway didn't worry the group in the least, as they reabsorbed the Caja Rural rider 50 km from the finish.

The wind, a potential threat to the stage, isn't particularly noticeable, and, having avoided the winds, the entire group heads towards a compact sprint.

Ineos led the final kilometers with Bernal, Kwiatkowski, and Ganna, but was too quick to get ahead of the curve.
