The UAE Tour 2025, which starts next Monday, will feature the classic uphill finishes of Jebel Jais and Jebel Hafeet, three sure sprints, an interesting uphill finish in the first stage, and a 12 km time trial.

Obviously the number one favorite is Tadej Pogacar , making his seasonal debut and winner of the race in 2021 and 2022.

Who could worry him? The first name is Lennert Van Eetvelt , first last year in the Lotto jersey. With the young Belgian we also mention Pello Bilbao of Bahrain Victorious, Carlos Rodriguez of Ineos Grenadiers, Oscar Onley of Team Picnic PostNL, and Giulio Ciccone of Lidl Trek.

Also watch out for Jay Vine, Pogacar's teammate, who between time trials and climbs would be a sure-fire top 10 rider, falls permitting.

While waiting to see if there will be the famous fans in the flat stages, all the strongest sprinters will be present. From Jasper Philipsen to Jonathan Milan , from Olav Kooij to Tim Merlier. Without forgetting Sam Welfsord, Dylan Groenewegen, Arvid De Kleijn, Phil Bauhaus, Juan Sebastian Molano and Gerben Thijssen.
