Remco Evenepoel is a new rider for Team Red Bull-Bora hansgrohe and will wear the new jersey starting in 2026. The news was in the air, but now the official announcements have arrived, with R ed Bull welcoming the Belgian with a very evocative social media post: "The time for words is over, a new era begins."

Soudal Quick-Step, Remco's current team, also sent a statement : "Soudal Quick-Step can announce that Remco Evenepoel will leave the team at the end of the current season, when he will join the Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe team. Representatives from Remco have informed the team management that they do not wish to discuss an extension of his current agreement, which expires at the end of 2026. After spending some time in consultation with our sponsors and partners, the team's ownership and management have decided that it is in everyone's best interests to agree that Remco can move at the end of the current 2025 season."
