Wout Van Aert was forced to miss the Tour de France due to physical problems, but he's already focusing on his next season's goals. The Team Visma Lease a Bike rider is working to get back to peak condition and, according to his Strava profile, is currently in Italy, in the Dolomites.
The Belgian is training intensely on the legendary peaks of the Giro d'Italia, aiming to be at his best by the end of August. According to Belgian newspaper WielerFlits , Van Aert will take part in the Vuelta a España, before focusing on the late-season classics.
