Matthieu Van der Poel wins the Dwars door Vlaanderen 2022 . The Dutch champion rules the group of leading men with Politt , Pidcock , Benoot , Ben Turner , Kung , O'Brien and Campenaerts . Pogaca r, finishes tenth with the first pursuers, behind Tratnik and in front of Madouas , 2'02 '"from the winner of the race.

Beautiful race in the final with shots and counterbeats by the leading men: Campenaerts , Pidcock and Benoot try first, forcing Van der Poel to work to get back on them at less than 4 km from the finish. Then the two Belgians start again taking some 50 meters of advantage.  

Then it is Pidcoc k who mends the gap to minus 2 from the conclusion and immediately relaunches the action.  

The Briton is reached 1.6 km from the finish and it is Benoot who starts on the counterattack, followed only by Van der Poel .  

There is no story in the two-man sprint and Van der Poel wins ahead of the Belgian in the Jumbo Visma . Third place, however, for an excellent Tom Pidcock who gives encouraging signals in view of the Tour of Flanders .
