The Dane leaves everyone behind on the final climb
Jonas Vingegaard won the sixth stage of the Volta a Catalunya, 158km from Berga to Queralt.
The Dane, winning his second consecutive stage, dominated the final climb. With seven riders remaining in front, with Remco Evenepoel working for his teammate Florian Lipowitz, Vingegaard made the decisive attack less than 3 km from the finish, ultimately reaching the finish line alone.
Behind him are Lenny Martinez and Lipowitz, who now occupy second and third place on the provisional podium. Evenepoel also finished fifth, behind Valentin Paret Peintre. Tomorrow is the final stage with the classic finish in Barcelona.
