Lidl Trek won the team time trial that opened the Vuelta Femenina, the first major stage race of the season. In Valencia the team of Elisa Longo Borghini and Gaia Realin , who wears the first red jersey as leader of the general classification, finished with a time of 19'20", despite a fall of two athletes a few meters from the finish line, preceding by Team Visma Lease a Bike of Marianne Vos was just a few cents away. In third was Demi Vollering 's Sd Worx, one second ahead of Kasia Niewiadoma 's Canyon, eight seconds behind Snow Bradbury.
