We are about to experience the most important race in the world, full of charm and full of champions: the Tour de France is ready to start from Bilbao and we at Fantacycling have studied a menu full of contents to keep you company during the next three weeks and analyze what what will happen on the run.

Finally, let's give some numbers related to the 2023 Tour: the 110th edition has a total of 3,404 km to cover, with eight flat stages, four hills, one time trial and eight mountain stages. 30 GPM and 4 hill finishes . 176 riders at the start with 22 teams. France will have 32 riders in the race followed by Belgium with 21 . Italy only 7 . The youngest at the start is the new American champion Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek) at 22 years and 54 days, while the oldest is Dries Devenyns (Soudal-Quick Step), who will soon turn 40. There are 36 absolute debutants including Biniam Girmay, Carlos Rodriguez, Mattias Skjelmose and Jay Hindley . The participation record belongs to Mark Cavendish , on his last Tour chasing the stage victory to overtake Eddy Merckx. The Briton will race on the roads of France for the 14th time.
