Cat Ferguson wins the road race at the Women's Junior World Championships in Zurich. The British athlete from Team Movistar beats the Spaniard Paula Ostiz in the sprint. The third place goes to the Slovakian Viktoria Chladonova .

Second win in a few days for Ferguson, who also won the time trial on Tuesday.

The first of the Italians was Chantal Pegolo , nineteenth at 2'29" from the winner; while Giada Silo suffered a bad fall at the end of the race.
