2nd place for Moschetti; bad fall for Jasper Philipsen
Nils Eekhoff (Team Picnic Post NL) wins the Danilith Nokere Koerse (1.Pro), a 188km Belgian classic with 14 cobblestone sections and 12 climbs.
Wallin , fresh from the day’s breakaway, is caught 11 km from the finish. Philipsen leads a small group with a couple of attacks on the final cobblestone sections.
In the last 3 km the group regroups and the race is decided with a group sprint , with a fall in the middle of the pack that eliminates the favourite Philipsen.
Eekhoff anticipates the sprint, Moschetti tries to get off his wheel, but the Dutchman resists and triumphs right in front of the Q 36.5 rider. Lamperti completes the podium.
