After Christophe Laporte 's victory at Gent-Wevelgem , it's time for Dwars door Vlaanderen .

The 183.7km from Roeselare to Waregem are a more than interesting starter for next Sunday's Tour of Flanders , but they make the race much more affordable and open to different riders.

In fact, the Ronde has a more demanding altitude profile and above all a route of almost 100 km more (273.4 km), therefore, what will happen tomorrow will not give too many indications in view of next 2 April.

Primarily because (barring surprises in the official startlists) there won't be the "big three" Pogacar, Van der Poel and Van Aert who are preparing to light up Flanders, in their own way, in five days.

This causes the ride to be much more open, but the Jumbo Visma block is still the favourite. Laporte may be tired and satisfied after the success at Gent, but the team includes elements such as Dylan Van Baarle (winner in 2021 in the Ineos shirt), Tiesj Benoot and Olav Kooji .

Alpecin Deceuninck will present Jasper Philipsen at the start, not very brilliant at Gent, but eager for redemption and attention also to Quinten Hermans .

Eyes also on Mads Pedersen (Trek Segafredo) that looks in great shape and has the features to hold its own in all northern racing.

The same judgment also applies to Stefan Kung (Groupama FDJ), who often lacks the winning starting point, but always obtains interesting placements in the northern races (at Fantacycling, for this reason, he is often a guarantee).

The Soudal Quick Step block is looking for revenge; Julian Alaphilippe looks far from his best form, but he's always a rider to watch, as are Tim Merlier and Davide Ballerini , fast riders, but who have the stamina to hold on to the walls and stones of the north.

Tom Pidcock should return to Team Ineos and with him there will be interesting riders such as Filippo Ganna, Magnus Sheffield and Jhonatan Narvaez , who appeared brilliant at Gent-Wevelgem.

Team EF will focus on the Italian Alberto Bettiol and the American Neilson Powless , while in Bora Hansgrohe , Nils Politt has shown to be in excellent shape.

Team UAE without Pogacar will still have two quality riders like Tim Wellens and Matteo Trentin , who are always ready in the heat of the race on these occasions.

Watch out for experienced riders like Alexander Kristoff, Michael Matthews, Sep Vanmarcke as well as riders like Anthony Turgis, Aleksey Lutsenko and Greg Van Avermaet ( some bonus could come from them thanks to breakaways).

Remember to check the timer within the app to see the time limit in which you can enter your lineup and make the latest transfer moves. A good shot before Dwaars, it could also be valuable in view of the Tour of Flanders.
