In view of the new season at Fantacycling it is useful to carefully study all the data and scores for 2022. The bonuses, in fact, will not only come from the most popular and expensive riders, but will be sought both in revelations and among experienced riders. So, we thought we'd make your task easier by drawing up the top ten runners over 35 at last season's Fantacycling .

The first is Geraint Thomas , a solid and regular runner; he is certainly not a man who lights auctions, but he brings points. Last year he made 2217 and next season he has declared that his goal will be the Giro d'Italia.

One rider who will be missing will be Alejandro Valverde , who retired at the end of 2022 and who, in his last season as a professional, was the second Over 35 in Fantacycling with 1525 points.

The podium is completed by Alexander Kristoff with 1353 points. The Norwegian will switch from Intermarché to Uno-X in 2023; the home air could be good for him, but he will probably have fewer opportunities to shine.

Then we go on with Caruso and Mollema , respectively with 1218 and 1022 points; two reliable riders, but from whom something more can also be expected.

The same goes for Uran and Fuglsang , seventh and eighth respectively with 860 and 819 points, while Simon Geschke 's 1,006 points were a nice jackpot, considering that the German from Cofidis had started the season with a quote of 7 fantamillions (a real low-cost hit).

In ninth and tenth position we find the Italians Vincenzo Nibali and Domenico Pozzovivo with 750 and 744 points. The first has finished his career and he too, like Valverde, will be greatly missed in the auctions of all fantasy managers, the second, as is his style, has no intention of giving up: he is looking for a contract and could be a great name to complete your teams.
