The final act repaid us for almost everything. The Giro d'Italia 2023 went by too quickly and as always, all good things are short-lived. Handsome? Yes, beautiful in spite of everything; after all, the emotion that this race gives us is incomparable, even when expectations disappoint us ... Those who have not been disappointed is certainly the Morello 58 Team , which won the Giro at Fantacycling with 7817 points , ahead of the tens of thousands of players active, on our app. The magnificent nine in his team were: Roglic, Thomas, Almeida, Pinot, Leknessund, Groves, Pedersen, Rubio and Evenepoel .

Yes, Remco who left things half done, withdrew after winning the second time trial due to Covid (damn Covid).

In its own way, that moment was also emotional and we shared it with you live on YouTube and Twitch . The news immediately unleashed all the fans following us, recording the record of over a thousand live viewers (a record that was later surpassed a few evenings later, with almost 1200 average viewers).  

Yes, because "our" Giro d'Italia was full of moments and emotions, starting right from our live shows. On YouTube alone, we have reached almost 2 million total views , with over 200,000 views and 70,715 hours of viewing in the last 21 days. We have been live with you every day, after each stop, for more than 42 total hours of production , trying to bring our ironic commentary, sometimes biting, but always moved by passion and sincerity. The biggest thanks therefore goes to you, to our community that follows, supports and puts up with us.

Thanks to our magnificent team: Fede, Lorenzo, Berta, the Mullah and the free hitter Marcello Piazzano ; without them none of this would be possible. Special thanks also go to the friends of Discovery, the legendary "Magro" Riccardo Magrini , who has by now become the point of reference for commented cycling in Italy together with Luca Gregorio and the great "Belù" Vladimir Belli, who was live with us in the historic (in its own way) evening of Evenepoel's retreat. With them also Ilenia Lazzaro , who proved to be better than Nostradamus in the predictions for Fantacycling.

It was a special Giro d'Italia also because we were present at the Giro E for the first time , with the Fantacycling social jersey . Special thanks therefore also go to RCS Sport and to all the people who organize the Giro E, for the great opportunity that has been granted to us. Here too, we put our hearts into it, finding the wonderful response of the cycling influencers, protagonists of the event, who embarked on a daily social challenge made up of passion and fun. In the end Giovanni Visconti of Team Carglass prevailed , who animated our live broadcasts as did Davide Cassani and Sacha Modolo , but this time, as never before, everyone really won.
